Azura DragonFaether is a modern philosopher, pop musician, and founder of The Dragon Disciplines: a secular framework exploring dragon philosophy through mythology, pop culture identity, and modern imagination in the digital era.


Raised in the world of Laserium, she grew up at the intersection of psychedelic performance art, esoteric contemporary culture, and technological innovation.


Now known as The Draconic Priestess, her work bridges global dragon history, fantasy media, and symbolic reinterpretation through the lens of Islamic mysticism, dragon iconography and alchemical philosophy.

Dragon Academia

Dragon Academia Archives is an independent, secular library of dragon study and public educational archive founded by Azura DragonFaether. It documents dragons across mythology, folklore, symbolism, religion, media, identity, and modern culture through structured research, reference, and historical context. It is not a religious order, church, pagan community, or theological doctrine, but rather a database.

Free secular study of dragons

Azura DragonFaether was raised in the world of Laserium, the original cosmic laser concert founded by Ivan Dryer. Through her father, Master Laserist Danny Neilson, she later hosted private “laser bath” sessions from 2013-2016 that contributed to the founding of The Dragon Disciplines. Exclusive interviews with Azura and her father, Master Laserist Danny Neilson, are featured in the award-winning documentary Laserium: The Gods of Light.

Original Music

Azura DragonFaether is a singer-songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist who grew up immersed in the music industry at Line6 and Clear Lake Audio, the studio of Grammy-nominated producer Brian Levi, known for recording Tragic Kingdom by No Doubt.


She later performed with Hollywood legacy talent through Rock Nation Summer Camp and earned an award for Outstanding Musicianship as first chair alto within a jazz festival for an originally composed saxophone solo.


Now returning to music after recovery, Azura re-emerges as a pop-jazz artist expanding into electronic-based instrumentals, emotional storytelling, and a sound that is entirely her own.

The Hatchling Clan

The Hatchling Clan, founded in 2017, is the official community of Azura DragonFaether and her audience known as the Hatchlings. Originally established on Amino, it grew to over 11,000 members at its peak before the platform’s closure. Now relocated to Discord, The Hatchling Clan operates as the largest global hub for secular dragon study, mythic identity groups, and cross-cultural community collaboration online.
